Social tennis is played most days with many of the social players out on court Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Expert coaching is available for people of all ages and abilities and release coaching is available on Originate Days which we have once or twice each season for those interested in joining the club or playing on a casual basis. These courts are available on a session fee basis for members and nonmembers. We welcome the hire of our clubhouse, rinks and or courts by private and corporate firers. They are old for a range of special functions including Christmas parties, birthday celebrations, corporate workshops team building and sporting tournaments. 2 greens are new, state of the art synthetic greens, playable in all weather. Large, new air conditioned clubhouse overlooking courts, with access and facilities for disabled. Fully equipped kitchen with commercial appliances including dishwasher, and a kitchenette. Congratulations to our Pennant bowls teams who finished in the top four of their competition. Appropriate luck to Division 2 and Premier One who go onto play in the finals. The club has a stunning setting, nestled among st the gum trees of Kensington Gardens Reserve, with views across multiple playing fields. Along with the lovely location, we have state of the art artificial bowling greens and lawn tennis courts, all with evening lighting. People of all ages and abilities are welcome to join as social or competition members. Casual players and corporate or private hire of our facilities are also welcome. Our important club house, with two bars, a fully functional kitchen and a balcony overlooking the courts and reserve can be hired for a range of functions. The tennis courts and or bowling rinks can be included in the hire if required. Ray, who was a Life Member of the Club, will be remembered as a stalwart of the Club over many years. He then became a Bowls member and continued to serve the Club on a elective basis with his carpentry skills for many years until very recently. He was a tranquility achiever who will be sadly missed by all Club members our condolences are extended to his wife Ngaire who is also a valued Club member.
